Can I replace the bulb for the UV meters on a PR1000X PA amp

Place your finger in the door recess on the right-hand side of the sanitizer and pull open the door.

Remove the drip tray.

Remove the protective screen by gently lifting it up and pulling it forward.

To remove the UV light bulb, pull it out of the lamp holder.

Install the UV light bulb by snapping it into the lamp holder.

Align the pegs on the protective screen with the slots in the reflective surface of the sanitizer on either side of the UV light bulb.

Insert and gently push down the screen to secure it in the sanitizer.

I have a Fish Mate 2000, water got in to the top where the light bulb & electronics are, replace the light bulb, but the Transformer is all rusted looking, can the electronics be replaced? thank Jean

Read across both prongs of light with a meter set on ohm's to check for continuity(closed circuit) if no reading bulb is burned out. Mine attaches to the ballast and then is inserted into a glass tube wich is then screwed onto the housing. There is a micro switch attached to the ballast that setsmwhen insertet into the housing that might be bad(had to replace mine) Remove bulb and check if grtting power to it by inserting volt meter probes into receptacle for the light and check for voltage,set meter to correct setting. If getting power at plug for light ALL is good and it is your bulb

If I cannot find the replacemnt part for the motor,we cannot remove the housing over the fan, looks like planned obsolesence to us! I will have 2 UV bulb replacements I just ordered from Brookstone for 20 each, will sell these to whomever would like them. KMWS

UV bulbs, or rather the RCI cell needs to be changed every three years in the FreshAir, or when the "Replace RCI cell" appears, whichever comes first. The UV bulb loses its intensity over this period of time.
