How do I change my Armitron WR165 watch from military time to 12 hour time?

To change your Armitron WR165 watch from military time (also known as 24-hour time) to 12-hour time, you will need to follow these steps:

How do you set the time on an Armitron 165 wrist-watch?

Hi wtgillo,

Hi there I see that you are in need of assistance setting time on your Armitron Wrist watch.

I would be more than glad to give you details on how to, Please see steps below.

Your Armitron Watch will have Four Button on the side of the watches rim.
Button on the upper Left is MODE.
Button on the lower Left is LIGHT.
Button on the upper right is DATE.
Button on the lower right is Alarm.

See Steps below:
*Setting the time*

Press and Hold down the Mode Button til the Hours flash
Then push Alarm Button to set the Hours
Press and Hold down the Date Button till the Minutes flash, then push D/Alarm Button to set the minutes
After setting the minutes on your watch, Press date till you get the month flashing push Alarm to set the month
Press the Date again till the Date flashes, then push Alarm to set date
Press the Date again till the Date on your watch flashes, then push Alarm to set the date
After setting everything push the Mode Button again just once to set everything or finalize your settings on the watch.

Need help setting watch

Go to the Amitron web site "www.armitron.com/watch_instructions.asp" and you will find a list of diagrams and associated instruction PDFs.

Scroll down the list (using the two arrows on the page) until you find one that looks like yours and download the file.

I found this document to help me. It is from Armitron. My watch didn't look exactly like the one shown, but the instructions still worked.

I found users instructions on roxy website at:

We were able to program our watch completely!!!

If you look on the back of the watch that you bought on the metal plate, it tells you the style. Ours was the Roxy 70's digital watch, and I found specific instructions at (even if this is not your style, the instructions may work):

and you will see a list of illustrations of watches and associated
