The setting if it has a on screen time feature is in the main menu somewhere---many sets if the clock has not been set will of course not show the time.
Most of the cameras with a date time clock have a secondary internal power source like a small watch type battery some point and shoot cameras use a storage cell which takes power from the main battery. This means when the main battery looses power the camera clock will hold a setting for about 1 day or 24 hours. To keep the camera clock set you need to keep a charge in the main battery. Here is a screen shot from the manual explaining this function.
1st the LCD must have Time settings, and Teletext incorporated then press a remote control key to have time displayed, and config the LCD menu for clock always visible.
Click on Main Menu, then Settings, then Personalize, then Home Screen, Hit down arrow to Clock: then hit Change Select Digital then hit Select Again, the Screen will then confirm Clock Changed.
Now go Back to your home Screen and you should see the clock display in the upper right corner just under the Battery Icon...
To change the time (clock), tap the main part of the screen. Then click on the "wrench" icon (Change preferences). Then, click on the blue arrow (4x) to go to the 5th page (Preferences 5 of 5). Click on the "clock" icon (Set clock).
To change the voice, tap the main part of the screen. Then click on the "wrench" icon (Change preferences). Then, click on the blue arrow to go to the next page. Then, click on the "mouth" icon (Change voice).
