I have the Selphy cp1200 photo printer; the ink cartridge is postcard, the paper is postcard, I keep getting the error "paper is not loaded correctly". Please advise, I know it is loaded properly.

Are you using Canon 4x6" PCP-CP400 Postcard Size Paper Cassette for SELPHY CP900/CP910 Dye Sub Printers??? Is the paper Matte or Glossy

Is the paper upside down?

Did you fan the paper at least 3 times?

Paper size

It looks likes the unit comes with a Paper Cassette PCP-CP400 which is for Postcard Size paper. You should be able to reuse the Cassette for any postcard size paper. If you want to use L Size or Card Size paper you will likely need to purchase an additional cassette for that size.

My printer will not pull paper from the manual tray. I am trying to print envelopes and postcards from the manual tray. Even when I select manual tray in the "paper source" field it will not pull. I think...

Check the Paper Handling Menu. The Tray 1 size and Tray 1 Type should be set to Any Size. This means that the printer should pull the paper from Tray 1 first when paper is loaded in tray 1

Printing postcards

Hi, You can print postcards in either the manual tray (1) or Tray 2 . But if you have a tray three installed you cannot print postcards, envelopes, etc... I recommend printing them from the manual tray and what you can do is either in your printer setting on your pc adjust which trays you want to use for printingpostcards. Or you can use the printers menu and go to paper handling and manual select which paper sizes you wish to use in each tray.
