My printer won't load the paper. I have the right postcard size paper in it and it's all put together right....but the paper doesn't load

Are you using Canon 4x6" PCP-CP400 Postcard Size Paper Cassette for SELPHY CP900/CP910 Dye Sub Printers??? Is the paper Matte or Glossy

Is the paper upside down?

Did you fan the paper at least 3 times?

It looks likes the unit comes with a Paper Cassette PCP-CP400 which is for Postcard Size paper. You should be able to reuse the Cassette for any postcard size paper. If you want to use L Size or Card Size paper you will likely need to purchase an additional cassette for that size.

Most domestic printers have a variable paper tray in which you can adjust the size manually, simply put the paper to the correct corner and print.

disconnect all usb cable from computer .power off again power on
press & hold down go button press t times if print , reset printer drive in your computer or not print test page replace drum unit .

Here is your solution to print postcards size.. 1. Select your image and press mouse right . 2. Select print and select your printer. 3. There may be many sizes indicate there... but you must select 4x6 or 5x7 as it is postcard size. 4. Now select your paper quality (eg. Photo paper plus glossy ) 5. Press print.... That is it .... good luck

BYPASS TRAY is sed when printing onto paper with a size not loaded into a paper tray or onto thick paper, overhead projector transparencies, postcards, envelopes or label sheets Can be loaded with up to 150 sheets of plain paper, 50 overhead projector transparencies, postcards, label sheets or sheets of thick paper, or 10 envelopes referred to as the "bypass tray" throughout the manual. as i know there's no 4x6 photo paper, u just load original photo paper than print on your photo with the size that u already edit. may be you should try software that usualy use to printing postcard like this

Check the Paper Handling Menu. The Tray 1 size and Tray 1 Type should be set to Any Size. This means that the printer should pull the paper from Tray 1 first when paper is loaded in tray 1

Hi, You can print postcards in either the manual tray (1) or Tray 2 . But if you have a tray three installed you cannot print postcards,envelopes, etc... I recommend printing them from the manual tray and what you can do is either in your printer setting on your pc adjust which trays you want to use for printingpostcards. Or you can use the printers menu and go to paper handling and manual select which paper sizes you wish to use in each tray.
