XML application in your computer might be corrupted which Yahoo
Messenger uses to display the chat box properly. In most cases, it is
the result of a virus/malware activity.
Here's what to do: 1. Download the Free Edition of Malware Bytes HERE. 2. Save the file. 3. Double click the downloaded file or if prompted to run the file, click yes to install Malware Bytes. 4. After installation. Launch or Open Malware Bytes. (Double click on the Malware Bytes icon on the desktop). 5.Click on the Update Tab and click on Check Updates (It will download the latest virus definitions) 6. After updating, click the Scanner Tab and do a Full Scan. 7. After scanning, click on View Results. 8. Then click on Remove Selected.
Note: The
Free Edition of Malware Bytes will not conflict your recent anti-virus
software because it does not have real time protection features.
Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger again.
