Hi, My Sigma BC 1009 STS does not seem to pair with the transmitter. Once it is mounted in its bracket the MPH flashes but will not stop flashing and will not display any riding information at all. I've checked: my magnet distance; my bracket / transmitter distance; my bracket / transmitter angle. Any ideas on why this will not work? Thanks, Charlie

If the computer is new return it. If not and you have tried a fresh battery on the sending unit and mounting the sending unit as high as possible on the fork, there's really nothing else to try. Check warranty.

Well, it IS wireless. Perhaps the distance or line-of-sight isn't right. As a test, hold the receiver in your hand and hold it closer to the spinning wheel transmitter.

The entry is in diameter mm. You should actually do the roll-out of your wheel and measure it if you want real accuracy.

I can't get it to register anything. The magnet is about 8mm from the transmitter, when i push the button at the back it flashes red. Do I need to sync it up or something? If yes how?

MY SIGMA 1009 COMPUTER SCREEN SHOWS 0 MPH WHILE RIDING.SEEMS AS THOUGH IT IS NOT TRANSMITTING ANY INFO. SOMEDAYS IT WORKS PERFECTLY.

You want to make sure the magnet on the front wheel is being picked by the receiver on the fork. Sometimes that magnet attached to the spoke will move on the spoke so that it no longer closely passes by the receiver. If the magnet has been lost, check with you can check with your local bike shop for an extra.
