Try downloading the software and/or drivers for it before connecting it to your pc. If you no longer have the disk that came with it - go to the manufacturers website and download them there. Don't connect it to your pc until the software is installed. The computer won't recognize it until the software and/or drivers are installed.
i have my drivers installed upon purchasing the unit, the unit was functioning , i was really using it well then just a month ago , when i connect my yp-u3 mp3 to my computer it says at first usb connecting , then for a another second it says usb disconnected, but it is charging,i cannot anymore download music , i can still use its radio .i reformat it , still it did not solve the problem, now i cannot use it anymore on my musics , since all my dowloaded music was erased : ) pls help , what shall i do ?
