Log on with an account that have administrative privileges on the computer to reset the password for the child account. Hope that helps.
In this case you would need to go in and remove the password with a tool called hiren's boot cd. download hiren's boot cd http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd download the cd image i think its and iso file open your cd burning software, and burn the image to a blank cd start up the computer with the cd in i think it might load automatically if it doesn't boot the computer with the cd by going into bios i think its f10 and change the boot order then when it starts up follow this tutorial on how to remove the password http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVjlBJ3HPi8 after you clear the password reset it going to control panel and go to users and change the password.

Boot the computer into safe mode and then see if you can fully get into safe mode with the guest account or any of the accounts that show up, if you can then go into the control panel and the users icon and then delete the account that you don't want and then reboot the computer so it goes to windows normally and you should be able to get in.
