The only place I saw for your manual was at tias, relics. You can google it and see the one I saw, I think the cost was $17 for a reproduction copy, I don't know who else would carry it, but it will answer your questions on how to thread it properly. Without seeing it I am assuming that you do not have it threaded right, or it needs a new needle. I am sure that it is a good old machine and worth fixing, they don't make em like they used to. I am not sure who made your model, so it would be best to buy the exact manual for your particular machine. Sears and Penney's did not make their own machines, they had other manufacturers make them, like Elna, Singer Necchi etc. Sometimes you can even purchase a repair manual that a Penney's technician had, I did with an old Kenmore that I had, but alas, it only confirmed my suspician that the motor was shot. You may be lucky and find one somewhere else for less money but I don't have time to do more research. Good luck

JC Penney 6937 Free Arm Sewing Machine. What year would a model 6937 have been manufactured?

Question edited for clarity and better order.

The problem is that JC Penney were just a department store seller of machines made by someone else, a regular sewing machine company, ie Singer, Necchi, Nelco, Brother..., but was badged under JC Penney's name.

JC Penney model 7015AI Overlock Serger sewing machine. I need a power cord for it please.

Question edited for clarity.

They make it with a strange plug that goes into the foot pedal. It looks like you have to buy it complete.

How do you thread a jc penny 7064 sewing machine

Unable to locate a manual specific for your machine, however, most machines thread the same way. More than likely, your machine was made for JC Penney, so if you could find out who the manufacturer was, you might be able to find a manual under the manufacturer's name, ie perhaps Singer, etc.

Jc penny stitchs problem

First Clean the upper thread path with unwaxed dental floss or some sturdy thin fabric like light weight denim. Get in between those tension discs and floss away. Then make sure you are threading the machine properly with the lever in the UP position and have a proper sized needle. (not all needles are alike) Make sure the needles you are using are not damaged or bent.

Go ahead and clean in and around the bobbin area. Make sure your bobbin is going in the correct direction in the bobbin case. (yes it makes a difference)

Do a test seam. Note any improvements... If you have loops on bottom... tighten the top tension. Loops on top.. tighten the bobbin case tension (look for tiny screw)

Do a test seam. Keep working the tensions until you get a balance stitch. Be patient... this sometimes takes a bit of time to get it right. Work mostly with the top tension if you can.

To determine if it is a timing issue, take off foot, throat plate and bobbin plate so you can really see. Use the hand wheel to get the needle to the lowest position. Note where the shuttle hook is... ideally it should be just about to pass the needle scarf at this point. If it is more than just a few millimeters away, it's out of time.

I can't help with with a manual for a JCP machine not sure where once could be found... would need more than just "JC Penney sewing machine to find one anyway... need model number."

Threading a JC Penney 4102FEN, no manual. Do you have a diagram?

there are some theading diagrams for JC Penny machines here http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Threading_Diagrams.htm
although your model is not listed. But take a look, often a make will have similar threading through several models and it may be enough to get you going.
