Does anyone know if I can use a M1-108A MobileOne oil filter in my Sportage without damaging the engine? And, why is there confusion about which MobileOne oil filter should be used in my Sportage?

I am unfamiliar with the brand so unable to comment on the application but the problem you have is common throughout the filter world and there are several reasons for it...

Factories around the world produce fairly limited types of filters and they buy from each other to make up a fairly comprehensive range to fill up their catalogues and some companies don't even bother to have their own brand and part number applied to them but simply put one manufacturer's filter in their own box.

Some oil filter suppliers don't make filters at all and simply buy in what they need and sometimes they buy from application and cross reference catalogues and sometimes they buy by dimensions - thread size, canister size, etc.
The trouble is, cross referencing doesn't happen in a straight line. Out of the multiple thousands made it isn't unusual to discover many different filters originally intended for different application that are physically similar enough to allow buyers to choose the most profitable option and when they discover a more profitable option or they have a supply problem they bring in a substitute and invent a new part number.
Take the part number of a filter from a catalogue and cross reference it in another catalogue and cross reference the resulting other part number in a different catalogue and then cross reference that in the original catalogue and it logically should produce the original part number - wrong! At least it is mostly wrong and some of those filters being offered as suitable fitments are poor substitutes fitted only by the gullible or the profit-hungry.

Unless fitting a dealer part ensure the replacement is identical to the one you are removing and don't forget to look inside for a valve. Most of this of course applies mostly to spin-on filters rather than the new fangled paper element type though even with those it pays to be careful due to reports of some being made of inferior material.
If two part numbers are offered a wise person takes both on sale or return for obvious reasons...

I need a spare filter for my Mitsubishi R410A Aircon what is the filter number and where to buy?

Supposedly if you have the old filter you can wash it with baking soda. I can't locate the parts. You might have to contact a factory authorized dealer to purchase the filter if it requires replacement.

I have a sear air compressor #919-165030 I need to replace the muffler on it

The air compressor you have does not have a muffler on so I'm assuming you're talking about the air filter. You can buy any craftsman parts from www.SearsPartsDirect.com or go to a site like www.ereplacementparts.com and get an air filter for it. Both sites also let you search on your model number to see the breakdown of your compressor so you can see what parts you need. The air filter element is part number D24233 and the air filter kit which includes the filter retainer is part number D24235.

Where do I find a replacement water filter?

Get the part number off of the filter. Go to Lowes or Home Depot website and do a search for the filter. If they have it you can go and get it. If not, try filter-outlet.com or filtersfast.com or whirlpoolpartsonline.com and buy online.

I need to purchase new filters for GE coffee-maker model number 169164

I'm not sure whether you mean the charcoal filters or the basket filter for the coffee. I have the exact same basket that I bought years ago as a replacement for a different pot, so I doubt that would be a problem. You can try your local Walmart for the charcoal filters since this model was sold exclusive contract with that chain. Depending on the size of your Walmart, you might have to special order those. Otherwise, they are available at most super centers. Just as an added measure, you might want to try washing the filters and using a coarser coffee grind before you buy new ones.

Hamilton beach brewstation

I found this site that calls it a "permanent dispencing filter" but the small print says that it is the small domed filter that sits on the bottom of the tank so I sounds like the same as the filter screen. FYI, there is a pricing conflict when you click on the part. The part link shows that it's $4.99 but when you select the part or try to order it, it comes up as $5.99. Here's the link http://abtecparts.com/hamilton_beach_brew_station_filters.htm

I will probably still call HB tomorrow and see what the want for it before I buy.

Locating filter cones

You can call 1-800-738-0245 to purchase replacement filter cones. They are part number DDCM200-02. However, sadly in this disposable world we live in, it makes little sense to do this. The filters cost almost $8.00 each, and shipping is about $12.00. You can buy a whole new machine for about the same price.
