My laptop is hp pavilion dv2500 notebook pc. I ve changed vista to xp. but after installation of Xp Professional i didnt do anything . but my sound, internet, wireless, blutooth..etc not working. i think i ve to install drivers.but im unable to find the drivers. i dont have driver back up. please help me to find the drivers for my laptop.

Hmmm did your computer come with Vista installed ? If that is the case and you are trying to install XP Instead there may NOT be Drivers for XP devices Available and you will not be able to install XP at all.

If it came with XP then the Drivers can be found on HP.COM Select Downloads: drivers .

Put in your Serial number or Model # and the type of O.S. you have.

i had this problem aswel.

If you go to the HP website you can download the xp drivers there.

i had XP then changed to vista and they worked until the update but i then put it back to XP, if i was you i would stick with vista, but you can try downloading the drivers for it on HP

This is an older WIFI driver that only works in XP, and in certain HP Pavilions, but try it.

and this is the Vista one that is correct for your laptop, it probably doesn't work in XP but if all else fails, you could try it. (You should really run Vista on it, I reckon)-----------------
