Shorten the length of a Kenneth Cole "New York" watch band

With the watch on your wrist, check to see how many links need to be removed from your watch. Your watch should fit comfortably on your wrist. Remove the extra links with your paper clip or push pin.To remove the links from your watch, press on the small pins with your tool that are holding the links in place. The watch band should now separate allowing the pin to become free, and you can now remove the pins first and then the links one at a time until you have removed the desired amount of links. Reattach the watch band when you are done removing the links. To reattach the watch band to your watch, simply fit the end links into each other. To complete the resizing, use your push pin to re-insert a joining pin.

I am trying to figure out how to shorten the wrist band on my Casio Edifice EFA-119.

mcdevito75 here, If your Casio has a metal band, you can remove 1--2 links, this takes a special tool called a link remover, best bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area. If your Casio has a strap, the buckle may be able to move up the strap to fit your wrist, if so, move the buckle up the strap to fit your wrist and cut offf the exccess strap. If not, you"ll have to replace the entire strap. Hope this helps.

How do I shorten the watchband to fit my wrist?

If you turn the band inside out...and stretch it...you will see either 2 or 4 small tabs per section. Use a jewelers screwdriver to lift up each tab per section and slide that section out. Now it will be easy to take other sections out as you won't have to maintain pressure on the band. Reassembly is reverse order.

I can not get the watch band to fit my wrist. How do i shorten the band

If it is a metal band there are links in the side of teh band that you can remove. If all teh removable links are gone you may need to change the band into a smaller one. And there are little pins by the watch you can do that as well. I recommend taking to a jewelry repair shop. Some jewelry store do repairs as well, and may have parts you need for this as well as the tools.
