Battery won't fully charge. Max charge seems to be slowly going down. First noticed charging light coming on intermittently but battery only reached about 93%. 4 days later and the max charging seems to be at about 89%. I have tried two different power adapters with the same results. Laptop seems to have decent up time when running on battery.

It seems that the issues is with the battery itself, not the cppu.

To double check, you can do the following:

1. Disconnect adapter and run battery completely dead.
2. Reconnect adapter and let charge for at leasst 12 hours OR until battery displays 100% charge.

If it still won't charge to 100%, then you know for sure the battery is defective/worn out..
If you want to know more about this, look on wikipedia for: "Laptop Battery Lifespan" or "Laptop Battery Memory Charging".

But I'd say it's safe to assume that it's time for a new replacement battery for your Notebook PC.

Hope this helps!

I have an ASUS Laptop,I had similar problem-was advised to remove battery wait 10 minutes and then push power button 3 times to reset charger-thence recharge battery for minimum of 12 hours-it worked.I hope this helps.

My battery light comes on first time out this season kept it charged through winter 2011 deluxe after i shut bike down battery light stays on and slowly fades out bike seems well charged open wire?

Not an open wire. What is the charge on the battery. Sounds like maybe the voltage regulator is defective and the battery is draining back through it possibly. Disconnect it or pull the main fuse and see what happens then.

Charging problem the red light and green light or both on when charging and the batteries don't seem to be charging

sounds like the batteries are dud, most chargers have 2 or 3 lights, red (max charging) Amber (battery nearing full charge) Green (fully charged and most will switch to a trickle charge) has the scooter been out of use for some time as scooter / wheelchair batteries must be kept charged, and only a short time of no use can destroy the batteries.

Lithium ion battery does not last as long

There is no such thing as a memory system in your battery. If you charge the battery until the green light on the charger comes on, that is as much as the battery can/will safely charge to. With Lithium batteries, they will fully charge whether they are at 75%, 50% or 10% capacity when placed on the charger and discharge to 0% if you use them that long. If you need the battery before the green light comes on and you use it, it will still fully charge when replaced on the charger. All batteries do discharge at different rates. Most not noticeably but a few will discharge fast enought to be noticable. If it affects your usage of the tool, you may want to exchange it or get it replaced under warranty because it will only get worse with age.

I have a Finepix xp50, with a fully charged, correctly installed battery, that won't turn on. It worked intermittantly for awhile. We have 3 batteries for this camera thinking it was the battery

Be sure your battery is in the right way. Try reversing it. My battery has 3 rounded corners and one square corner. The square corner goes against the latch.

I have 18volts at the box that the battery leads go to and the consol leads go out of. the warning beeper goes off even when standing still and in neutral. i have tryed bridging the leads from battery to...

18 volts is not enough voltage to run this scooter. You have 2 batteries that should each read a max voltage of 13.5 volts each or 26 to 27 volts when fully charged and measured in series. 2 batteries that are 50% charged will read 24 volts. Your batteries are almost dead by this measuring method. Charge them up or replace them and your scooter should run. Hope this helps.

Battery will not charge

I purchased a Genuine Dell Battery, It arrived dead with 1 test light on battery itself at 0% charged, It only lasted 2 mins before the laptop died running on battery, It doesn't charge the Dell battery at all The replacement battery only shows a 1% charge every 7 hours or so, nor do I have a yellow, green, orange light, The only time I get a light on the battery led is if i'm running on batteries and the battery level is below 10%, Its orange for low battery.
Thanks in advance to anyone who could help me.
