Hi, im searching for the stereo wiring chart for my mitsubishi lancer 2002 GLXI. i have searched for it but the colours are completely different to what i have. For example the colours i have are - Blue/ with Grey spots, - which is a big thick one Blue, Red, blue/red, red/white, black/yellow, green/white with grey spots, red/black wih grey spots, yellow/red with grey spots, blue/yellow, green/yellow, and a very light green.

What's the problem?

take the wire off the battery that goes to the alarm.

A mate of mine has one of these. He's done 80,000kms on it and he drives with a seriously heavy right foot. There are somed murmurs out there (google etc) but they all seem to be different issues and there is no real described issues

I would recommend you purchase a car that will strain your budget less - how good is owning a car that worries you? NONE --
Always - Also - take down the Vin # - call the local dealer and ask about recalls and service bulletins - you will be amazed. Some recalls must be fixed for the life of the vehicle.

the clutch disk is worn therefore slipping. replace the clutch disk

There are aftermarket wireharnesses available. I suggest the $15-25 purchase. The wires usually match color for color to the aftermarket stereo saving a major head ache if attempting to figure out the factory harness. These adaptors are available at many audo part stores and local installation shops. To check the harness you need, Metra, on of the main aftermarket wire harness manufacturers has an application chart on line, see metraonline.com or a search for American International or Scosche.
