Hello,
Do you have your speakers hooked up? If you are listening to the radio do you have an antenna hooked up? If your stereo has power then check the wiring to your speakers.
Regards, Tony

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

I have just purchased an HP Desktop computer and when I burn a Cd for music, everyting seems to work ok but when I try to play that CD on another player in my home, it won't play. Is there a setting...

Check the type of the blank CD/DVD you are using. Certain players won't be able to play CD-RW for instance.

If that doesn't solve the problem you might try to slow down your burn speed for a better quality CD/DVD. Sometimes a faster burn speed will lower the quality and other devices can have trouble reading these.

My music after i burn it it will not play on my cd player

Hi Martin!
  • If your CD supports MP3, try burning another CD using slower writing speed.
  • If your CD doesn't support MP3, make sure to burn a regular Audio CD, instead of MP3 disc.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with 4 "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Best regards,
Pelu.

I cannot play CD's on my desktop PC.

If the optical unit can read DVD, but not data CDs , or music CDs , then the lens is dirty or defective. In that case , try first using a cleaner disk. If that does not work, replace the drive unit.
If instead the problem is that computer can read data CD but does not play music, then reinstall Windows media player. See Windows Media Player 10

Disney Princess CD Player will not play music

try cleaning the laser with a q-tip if the laser is dirty from finger prints or dust it won't be able to read the disc therefore won't play. Clean laser and if that doesn't work then the child may have damaged the player in a fashion that would be better to get him/her a new one.
