Hi,

Look for a couple of screws in the floor of the cabinet above the microwave...
They maybe sunk down into the wood a bit so you will have to look hard to find them...
Have someone else support the weight of the microwave while you turn the screws loose...they may be very long, so you may want to use a screw gun or electric drill to turn them out...
Then tilt the front of the micro wave down and lift the back up and off of the back mounting plate...
Then you can remove the mounting plate also...
Oh. Make sure you have unplugged it first...

I have an LG LMVM2075ST which has worked flawlessly for 5 years. It just stopped working. No lights. Checked breaker, checked outlet, unplugged - plugged back in ... now at the point of troubleshooting...

Unless you are good at this troubleshooting, with a multimeter, circuit diagram, and so forth, I'd take it to a service tech. You may find that a quote will approach the cost of a new one, or that parts are not so easily obtained now.

I'd say a fuse has blown or thermal cutout failed, if everything is dead.

You should be aware that the magnetron circuit in these things generates a lethally high voltage which can be present even when unplugged from the wall.

Our Kenmore microwave started emitting odors and then quit

To figure out what is wrong with it, it will have to be removed from the wall, Then the top cover will have to be removed, then you can look for any swelled capacitors, burn marks on the circuit board or any shorted wires.
The power supply is most likely faulty . You can test the power with a voltmeter from power supply to main circuit board.

How to replace cracked plastic door frame on Whirlpool microwave?

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screw(s) you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

In some cases, you then have to gently rotate the handle to unlock it.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Replacing inverter board for my sharp R-2130JS microwave

I do not know how to specifically replace the "inverter board" in this model. On most microwaves I've repaired, though, the hardest part is getting them dismounted from the wall if they are rangehood models. I suspect that the inverter board is held onto the chassis with two phillips screws, and all the connections thereto are modular and therefore easily disconnectable and swapped out. The great majority of times, manuafactureres do NOT put multiple connectors of the same pin count and oriention on a circuit board. Give it a go.

Light bulb burned out in microwave oven

Most likely you're going to have to dismount the microwave and remove the outside cover to get to the bulb. This is a fair amount of work but is not rocket science. I'm not famliar with your particular microwave, but it's probably that way. If it's any comfort to you, light bulbs are usually not covered by warranties or service contracts.

It won't hurt to run the microwave without a bulb.

Issues with GE Spacesaver Model JVM1533D002

Yes, the door switches need to be either adjusted or replaced. Will require dismounting it and taking off the cover which is about ten screws around it rear and side edges.
Hope Ya Fix it.
