That's typical for this mp3 player - probably sounds tinny - nothing you can do about it

My mp3 player holds 600 songs but i am unable 2 get all my songs on the player it only allow about 300 songs why is that

Good day,

If they say 600 songs that is normally just an estimate of the amount of songs you can store on your mp3 player if all the songs are a certain quality, say 128kbps.
The better the quality of your songs the bigger their size becomes. Where a 128kbps song is normally 3MB a 320kbps may be up to 6/8MB.

What it comes down to is the size of the songs. The smaller the size the more songs you can put on your mp3 player. When the songs are bigger you will not be able to put on as much as proclaimed.

Hope this clarifies it a bit!
Please let me know if this information was helpful!

Kind regards

I HAVE DOWNLOWDED SONGS BUT A LOT OF SONGS WONT COPY TO MP3

Okay, fist, you need to make sure the player is good (boots up, goes to menu, etc.). next, you need to put all of the songs into media player, then SYNCH them to the player. If you can't do that, try putting all of the songs into a folder called "music" and then put them into a subfolder called "albums." it should work shortly afterwards.

Limited downloads on mp3 player

Probably because your songs are at a very high bitrate eg. 320 (CD quality) as opposed to 128 (average quality). Songs at a higher bitrate take up more space. So the Zen Stone can hold 250 songs at a bitrate of 128 but only, say, 150 at a bitrate of 320. Your solution would be to use http://www.dors.de/razorlame/index.php to decrease the quality of your mp3 & make the file size smaller.

Snoy NW-E105

Hey.
Well first, some of the songs that you put in, well...Sony Co. cannot transfer directly, so you would have to use their Sonicstage program, aka the converting button.
Like most Sony mp3 players, you need to use Sonicstage to put songs in the mp3 player.

For the Sony NW-E405, simply go to the Transfer menu at the top right of the program, (along where the My Library button is) and select the song. In the middle of the screen should be arrows along with a suitcase looking button. Click the luggage button and a screen should pop out. It should have two choices, a Standard Transfer Mode and a Specified bit rate transfer mode. Click the Specified one and select either the 105kbps (ATRAC 3) or the 132kbps (ATRAC 3) for great sound quality and small memory usage. The others are too big or too bad for sound quality. It should now work.

Now the mp3 player should be able to read it, since it is now in ATRAC 3 version, not the mp3 version.

Hopefully this solution helped.

For the songs with no data, the songs are unquestionably banned from the Sonicstage program either because of illegal data in the mp3 songs or the corruption of the data itself. It happened to me quite a lot.
You could try converting it like the top section...some of those songs worked.

Hopefully this solution helped.

Ringing sound when playing music

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Playing songs at certain volume

Several things can effect the quality of your files. 1. Check your headphones by comparing them with others. 2. The file quality may be too low, you can test that by getting a higher quality MP3 file and comparing the two. 3. If you are creating the MP3 files yourself, be sure to watch the sound recording level. Allowing it to stay in the red can produce distortion while recording ay too low of a level can result in low voulume as well as possible distortions. If none of these correct the issue, you may need to replace the player.
