i am not sure how your problem come about or maybe i am using a different firmware but by accessing log, just choose options > delete, it will delete the single entry and not the whole list
Theres not much hope for you recovering that deleted file, Unless you can get it to a data recovery centre I'm not sure that there is anything else you can do I'm afraid.
