SOURCE: wont turn on

Please check the charger connector for dirt, if possible take an old toothbrush and clean with alchohol, let it dry and refix everything. should work.

SOURCE: wont turn on

This is a known issue with this phone. It is a software problem. You need to get your phone reflashed, either download the software and do it yourself or take it to a company that does it. In my opinion SE should pay for this as it a serious design flaw.

SOURCE: My phone will not show it charging and will not turn on, red light flashing

What worked for me was inserting a SIM card. Apparently it won't charge without a SIM card.

Can i directly hook up the neg and positive wire to my cell battery and charge it

popped off the battery cover and noyiced the + & - signs on the battery almost lined up perfectly with the contacts on the sides
so fugurring that since the charge from USB port, figured the 5V 0.5A power source would work for the same side connectors. cut up the seperate USB cable layng around and stripped down the red (+5V) and black (Gnd ) wires.
from there bunched them up and stuffed the red one into the left contact and taped it down with electrical tape and then did the same with the black wire in the right contact. make sure to use as much wire as you can without touching the 2 wires/contacts and taped them down seperately and nice and firm.
plugged in to the computer for about 25 min and it was completely drained and nearly 1/4 full power.wait for to get it fully charged and then just bring this cable and electrical tape with you and you can charge your cell with your lap top

I have a compaq 1720 monitor and the Display Manager has been constantly popping on and off of the screen. When I hit menu on the monitor to make it go away, it goes away, but comes back almost instantly....

Could be a little dirt/debris under the menu button. Try blowing around the button with a spray can of air or a small air compressor (100PSI or less), pressing and depressing the button as you spray. Good luck.

Everytime i go to print something it says "printer not responding" the status shows online, and turned on. I put the disc in again to try to install it and it dont even pop up on the computer?

If your printer fails to respond to a job, check that all printer cables are connected properly and be sure that the printer is turned on. If everything is connected properly and powered up, go to the computer's "control panel" from the "start" menu. Choose "printers" and be sure that your printer is selected as the default. If everything checks out in the control panel, right click on your printer icon and select "properties." Click on the "details" or "port" tab and make sure that the correct port is checked off. Next, double click on the printer icon, which will bring up a list of current jobs in the print queue. Cancel all documents and try printing again. If your printer is attached by USB port, you may try connecting to other USB ports.

Good luck, KoBaC

After being reset and plugged back into computer to charge, a red light pops on as soon as plugged back into usb port to charge and will not turn on.

Put a pin in the reset button situated in the tripod hole.Do it three times for about thirty seconds each time. Also depress the on off switch for about thirty seconds.Put it in the usb port of your computer to charge. After about thirty minutes or an hour the screen should go white.A battery shows on the screen.Wait till the battery shows all green, then it is fully charged.

How do i replace flex cable on a razor phone can u show video

Ok..#1.take the battery out..
then youll have to remove the 2 screws that hold the modem part of the phone in.gently pryup on the modem ,on the side with out the usb charger port..slip a thin flat tipp screw driver in there and slide it towards the bottom of the phone. there are littler plastic clips carefull not to break them.then youll see where the bottom of the flex cable plugs in.unplug it.then flip the phone over,in the 4 cornors of the screen side of the flip there are tiny little rubber plugs. pop them out and undo the screws in there.near the top of the screen there is a little slot on the right side of the screen ..gently pop the cover off the screen..unplug the flex cable from the screen.and carefully remove the screen.be careful not to damage the buttons on the sides of the screen.then close the flip and turn the phone over..looking into the battery part of the phone,on the top right hand side of the hindge there is another little screw, remove that.then again turn the phone over and stick a flat tip screw driver into the open hole and pop the chrome roller out.then very carefully youll be able to seperate the 2 halfs. look on the back side of the keyboard youll see little metal tabs folded over that holds the key board in place..the keyboard and the flex cable are one piece, just revers the procedure to replace.." BE VERY CAREFUL RUNNING THE FLEX CABLE THREW THE HINGE AS IT CAN DAMAGE VERY EASLY." IF YOU NEED MORE ASSISNT CONTACT WWW.PHOENIXTEC.CA they are very helpful

A lighning bolt through the battery in the right hand corner MEANS that the Mp3 IS CHARGING, and there should be a red light on the side that blinks every now and again, when the red light stays on that means it's done.

Audiovox SMT 5600 will not charge

If your battery goes COMPLETELY dead, which it will do if phone is not turned OFF and not used for a long period of time, you will need to JUMP START it using you OEM SMT-5600 AC charger. Other AC chargers will not work for this purpose and neither will a USB port.

You can JUMP START the battery using a USB port by cutting off a USB cable to expost the red and black power USB PORT power pins 1 and 4. Remove your SMT-5600 battery and while the modified USB cable is plugged into your USB PORT, hold the BLACK wire to the negative (-) terminal and the RED wire to the positive (+) terminal for about a minute. Replace the battery in the phone and connect the phone to a USB PORT using a standard USB cable. The SMT-5600 charging light may not register for a while, but will eventually light amber to show it is charging, assuming your phone is recoginzed by your computer.

Note some mini USB cables DONOT carry the USB power leads through to the phone, only data. If you have a very thin USB cable, be suspicious the power leads are not being carried in the cable.

Since the USB PORT power is limited to 100ma it cannot hurt the battery, but will insert enough current into a totally flat batter to cause the battery to register a voltage large enough to alllow USB PORT charging, typically 3.7VDC.
