Saeco Vienna Sup018 model. Changed flowmeter and sensor because of water flow problem. Now the unit makes one cup and red light comes on. Turn off machine to reset. Pump work fine, no clogs anywhere. Any assistance would be welcome. Thanks.

Solid red light is a ventilate light.. Try Priming the machine to see if the light goes away.

Something may be in the flow meter. Its the while device between the water tank and the pump of the machine. You would have to open the machine and clean out the flow meter.

Also, if you haven't descaled the machine already, I would start there.

Make certain the line from the water resource is cleaned and not obstructed. If the pump fails to move the water from the reservoir to the heating tank, then the pump needs to be replaced.

More than likely your grind is to fine and you are using oily beans (shiney). There is a small knob in the bean hopper. turn it down to the minus side. Turn the big knob to the # 18. If that doesn't work you are going to have to take the grinder apart and clean it.

The brew unit is blocked, check the shower screen under the red o-ring.

The flowmeter is on the bottom of the machine follow the line that leads from the pump and you will see the flowmeter.

Could be 3 things. Pump, flow meter, or clogged boiler. Pump is a standard ulka pump, flow meters are bought only from saeco as well as boilers. If i had to guess.... If its a vienna black than i'd point to the flowmeter. If you get pressurized water out of the steam wand than its either the flow meter or the boiler. Pointing more towards the flow meter (u shaped white plastic part with in and out tubes.

adjust the water flow look for a knob that turn right to left minus less water plus more water
