In cases where the telephone line is also used as the fax line, the receive code allows the user to receive a fax upon answering the phone without going to the unit and pressing start. By default, the receive code is *9*. That means that pressing *9* sequentially on the telephone activates an automatic fax response form the unit. It needs no setup, except making sure the telephone line from the wall is connected to the LINE outlet in the unit and the remote telephone is connecte to the EXT outlet.

Be blessed.

How to remove code set 3 for the remote control panasonic bd-45

It seems the best way to "remove code set" is to overwrite it with a different code set.

(From the Owner's manual for the Panasonic DMP-BD45)
STEP 6 :
Reprogramming the remote control
Change "Remote Control Code" (-> 28) on the main unit and
the remote control (the two must match) if you place other
Panasonic products close together and it responds to this
remote control.
You can operate the TV or amplifier/receiver using the unit's
remote control.
1 For televisions
Input the code (-> 37) with the numbered
buttons while pressing [? TV POWER].
For amplifiers/receivers
Input the code (->37) with the numbered
buttons while pressing
[RECEIVER j VOL].
e.g., 0001: [0] -> [0] ->[0] -> [1]
2 Test by turning on the television or
adjusting the volume of the amplifier/
receiver.

Yamaha RX-V359 the remote sensor in in the unit is not working. I have tried the remote control on another machine and that works

If the remote is working, but not with your receiver, there is maybe ID mismatch. Both the remote and receiver can be set to either ID1 or ID2 - this is used when you have 2 receivers nearby, so that both of them don't react on commands from both remotes.

See the "Advanced setup" of your manual. On receiver you can check/change the ID code by powering the receiver on (press STANDBY/ON) while holding down the STRAIGHT button on front panel. Display will show "Advanced setup". Use "program < >" keys to navigate the menu until you got to "REMOTE ID-XYZ". Then press STRAIGHT to select ID1 or ID2. Now press STANDBY/ON to turn the receiver off. After turning it on again, it will use the new settings.

You can also try to reset the remote control codes to factory defaults. On remote, press CODE SET with a tip of a pen or pencil. TRANSMIT light on remote will blink twice. Now press SETUP on the remote and then "9981". TRANSMIT should now blink twice and remote control is set to factory default codes.

How do i get code for bluetooth

First make sure that Bluetooth is on on the CDE-143BT. Press and hold Audio/Setup (below and to the right side of the rotary encoder dial until you enter the Setup mode. Use the rotary dial to get to Bluetooth. Press the Search/Enter button (the center of the rotary dial). Then use the rotary encoder to go through the Bluetooth Settings menu. Press Search/Enter to toggle the current value. After Bluetooth is on, go to Visi M setting and make sure that it is on. Now, you need to go to the Bluetooth settings area of your cell phone when it is within range of the receiver. Tell it to pair with the receiver. Then when it asks for the code enter "0000". This code is hard encoded into the unit. See page 23 of the manual for the CDE-143BT for the code. The manual is available here: http://vault.alpine-usa.com/products/documents/OM_UTE-42BT_CDE-SXM145BT_CDE-143BT_EN.pdf . Surrounding pages show setting the other Bluetooth settings.

Note: the receiver will be acting like a Bluetooth headset. That's why you need to enter the receiver's PIN on the phone.

I hope this helps.

I need a user manual for a STATUS model rct-08 remote control as it needs resetting.

Plug the receiver into a mins power socket. The red LED flashes every second.Press any on switch for more than 2 seconds on the remote control. The receiver will learn the code. When the LED flashes continuously after 2 seconds and goes off it means the receiver has learnt the code. You can add various receiver sockets to any one on switch to create a zone. Repeat these last 2 steps for all receiver sockets selecting a different receiver button for each receiver socket. After a power cut pull out the receivers from the mains power socket and repeat the above steps.
Plug the device you want to operate into a receiver socket. Press the on or off button to activate the receiver socket. Or press the on/off button directly on the receiver socket to operate the plug.
To decode. Press the On/Off button on the receiver socket for more than 3 seconds. After 3 seconds the LED flashes once per second, decoding is successful.
Press the All/Off switch on the remote control for more than 3 seconds. After 3 seconds the LED flashes once per second, decoding is successful.
Hope this is OK for you. Peter

Cannot find code to set my cable remote to turn on/off my receiver

The Remote Code 1789 will both turn ON and also turn OFF the Onkyo TX-SR605 AV/Receiver. Many codes will either turn it on or turn it off, but not both. Code 1789 will do both.

Can't program rc65 directv remote to control hr21-700 receiver

I believe the codes 00001 and 00002 are valid for all DirectTV receivers.

Instructions for entering the codes are here.
Instructions for searching for the proper code if those two don't work, or for other devices, are here.
If you'd like a digital manual for your RC65, click here.

I hope that helps.

Need manual to program remote to a different frequency

Each fan with have a receiver unit mounted in the housing, usually above the fan up against the ceiling. Each receiver unit will have 4 "dip pins" which allow the code to the remote to be set. In order for two fans originally installed with the same code to be run separately, one fan will have to be taken down, and the code changed on the receiver unit. Then you will have to purchase a new remote and set the same code on its dip pins (usually under the battery.) It's easiest to buy a replacement remote WITH a receiver AND a transmitter in it. You can either wire in the new receiver (setting the code differently than the existing one on BOTH the receiver AND the transmitter) OR just put the receiver aside and program the new code that you've set in the old one into the transmitter.

Fixing my radio

Hi,

It is possible that your Motorola FR60 though on the same channel/frequency have different CTCSS settings. CTSS is also known as Interference Eliminator Code or Coded squelch, Private-Line, PL, Quiet Call, Channel, Guard, etc. What needs to be done is to set both to the same code setting on the settings/menu. Turning the code/CTCSS OFF would also serve the same but allow other radios (without CTCSS) to be likewise received/heard.

If they are already on the same code setting and still no receive audio, it is possible a fault on the squelch, receive/audio circuitry or even the speaker itself which of course would require hands-on/in-shop service.

Hope that this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

[2] 811 dishnet receiver

you need to program one remote with a different code, power off or unplug one of the receivers. Go to the other receiver and hit the system info button at the receiver. Now read the remote code at the bottom of screen would be a number between 1 to 15. Program the remote for a different code than what it shows. Push and hold down the sat button on the remote and leave go light will blink, enter code say 14 and the pound key. You will see the light blink 3 times on the remote. Now that code is entered in the remote now with that system info screen up on the tv watch at bottom where code is and hit the record key on remote and you will see it change to 14. All done . now just plug back in your other receiver.
