Hi,
Do one thing set the control behind the sub. set the level and cutoff control at it half position. Set phase control at "0" position. Then test the sound. if you ate using tower speaker as front speaker then you have to set the position of phase control 180 ,
ok
hi,
you have to set the crossover frequency 150 hz or bellow, as there is large frond speakers it will handle tha upper frequencies. try to set tha sub crossover setting in the amp as low as possible to aviod distrotion when you increase the volume. You have to switch ON the LFE and set the crossover at 120hz 0r 100hz. set the crossover control on the back onthe subwoofer to 150hz. set the level conrtrol behind the subwoofer to its half position.it will give you a good performance. also set the level of subwoofer in in the AVR at its half position. if you need to increase the level of sub then increase the level cotrol behind the subwoofer. do not set it at full throtil.
ok
hi,
Happy to receive you comment that you are satisfied. Alwas keep one thing in mind what ever the power of the amp or subwoofer it will give a good performance at its half output. If you try to increase the output level it will become distroted.
ok
hi,
Total power consumption of you sub is 220V * 0.5A = 110W. I dont know how can it produse 200W RMS power out put by consumming only 110W.

Thanks for the response... Yes, I am using 2 large front speakers and according to the manual, I have to set the phase control to "0" , and since my audio video receiver has a phase control and crossover network control, I have to set the LFE lowpass filter switch off or set to a higher value... Is it the proper configurations?
Hi! I have set the croosover network of the audio video receiver to 150hhz & since I have large front speakers, it will handle the upper low frequency...and I have set the lowpass filter of jamo sub200 to 100hz and the sub volume to almost half a position. now I have a very good sound configuration and I am really satisfied now. Thank you for the help! More power!
Hi! just wanna ask if What is the real wattage of the jamo sub200 amplifier and its subwoofer speaker itself...thay always say that the amplifier is 200 watts...is it RMS?...I'm in doubt...it might be just 80 to 100 watts...
