We have an older basketballhoop, inground one. It says "lifetime" and CBO1400 on the back. The kids crashed the acrylic backboard. I would love to buy a new backboard only and leave the pole etc where it is. Since the hoop is about 8 plus years now, what replacement model will I be looking at nowdays???

You NEED to get a replacement piece from the manufacturer. You could get a piece of lexon from home depot but it will cost you a bit.
