Recently it crashed when I was using it (switched itself off). I got a card read error when I turned it back on again and presumed the problem was that the SD card had corrupted.
I got a new SD card, put it in. First time I tried to record it said "Card Full". Then it froze. Since then whenever I turn it on it just says "Song Loading..." and never gets any further.
The annoying thing is it's just out of warranty. I really liked this gadget but not keen on buying a new one if it's not going to last much more than 12 months. Anyone know if faults like this are commonly reported with them? anyone know if Boss are likely to help? etc. Thanks.
Mine is doing the same thing- with a Scandisc card- plus, the unit has never been used.
Just wanted to report my micro br is doing the exact same thing, card read error, drive busy and when i change cards it says card full.
I don't know whether it would be of any help to do a "factory reset" when switching on your Micro BR the next time.

It is either that you put an incompatible SD card in it. (Believe it or not, many devices will not work with certain SD cards), or the card reader has failed. Try a Scandisk SD card or other popular brand and see if there is any difference in the messages. Otherwise I would say the card reader is faulty.
