There could be so many things that cause this to happen. The final transistors in the unit handle a lot of current. When they fail from heat or other causes, the fuse burns out. There is nothing that you can do unless you know how to perform electronic repairs and troubleshooting. Unless you want to send it in to a shop for repairs.

Hi , now that you have the amp apart , just check the underside of the printed circuit board and check for any corrosion ,rub it with a soft brush . then try connecting without speakers . see if it still blows fuse, if it does then there is a likelihood that your mosfets / outputs may have shorted the first time you reconnected it . Good luck

SOURCE: amp blows fuses "immediately"... HELP

for this to cause a problem with amplifiers there is something internally wrong with it. Most of the time the mosfets take a shit from the hot...cold....hot....cold atmosphere its put in by all of us audio people. If it still has warrenty that would be the easiest route to go. Send it in to them and have them fix it for FREE lol!! well sorta. Hope this helps you understand why you are blowing fuses.

SOURCE: amp keeps blowin the two 30amp fuses on the amp.

Make sure that the speaker wires are wired correct at both the amp and the speakers......otherwise it sounds like the typical death of a power acoustik amp (great amps, but prone to a premature death)

My fuse keep keep blowing as soon as I change it on a 2008 chevy uplander

if you know witch fuse is blowing that means you have a short so if you have an idea how to trace it do so but make sure you have the right fuse with the correct amps then check to see if the wire have a bruise or if something is pinching or mashing the hot wire

Why does my high beam only works on right side1998 nissan altima

If the fuse blows violently (i.e its pretty black inside the fuse as opposed to just the fuse link being melted) then its a dead short to ground. Follow the hot wire from the switch to the light, someplace its contacting metal and shorting out.

2004 Pontiac Montana a/c fuse blows as soon as u put it in . Blows hot air only

If the fuse blows as soon as you turn the A/C on, the compressor clutch has failed (shorted). Simple repair.

If the fuse blows as soon as you put the fuse in without the A/C on, you have a physical short in your wiring.

We changed the plugs wires and coil and still have no spark. So we checked the fuses and it keeps blowing right through them as soon as you turn the key. Why?

The fuse is blowing because the circuit is shorted. I would need to know what fuse and what Year, make, model, and engine size?

check your ciggerette lighter and power point and make sure they are clean. pull the lighter right out and try again. also a 7.5 amp fuse seems very small to run your dash and tail lights. should be a 20 amp fuse.

PCM fuse keeps blowing

It's possible you ran the battery down, trying to start? Have to make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. If battery is down, have to use a charger and get it charged, we can't test anything if battery is down.
I did look at power distribution wiring diagram for your vehicle, I found pcmB fuse--20 amp. Two fuse legs goes to pcm, the other goes to load side of fuel pump relay. If I had to guess, I'd say the fuel pump has a problem. If the wiring before the fuel pump relay or the pcm was the problem, then the fuse would blow as soon as soon as you plug it in. The fuse circuit shows to be hot all the time. Just my opinion. There might be other issues, but, I can't track it from where I am.

12volt batery converter blows its fuse when conected to battery

Check for any short circuit in the wires as that is the only possibility as the overload on the fuse can only be due to short circuit.

Will not start and checked fuel pump no power to fuel pump i also have blown fuse for ecmb that blows as soon as i replace it

ECM B fuse supplies a constant 12v hot at all times to the VCM/PCM and to the fuel pump relay. The fuse is blowing telling you that there is a short to ground somewhere. Try this, take the fuel pump relay out and put a new fuse in. If it doesn't blow put the relay back in and if it blows then try a new relay. The relay may be shorted to ground internaly. Other wise you'll have to trace the wires to the VCM and the pump relay to look for a chafed wire that's contacting metal. The wire coming from the ECM B fuse is orange and has a splice in it going to the pump relay and the VCM/PCM.
Hope this helps.....Andrew
