I have just purchased a new Little Gem2 mobility scooter which appears to work fine until I sit on the seat ,then there is a series of beeps followed by 5 single beeps.Can you please help

Make sure that the scooter is not in freewheel (the freewheel lever at the rear of the chair needs to be in drive position) If you can push the scooter easily then its in freewheel mode If you have the owners manual check to see if they have the beeps codes listed and look for the code you aare getting if you don't have the manual try the manufacturers website to download one Hope this helps

When I turn on the vehicle the battery light indicates a full charge but the beeping sound will not stop and the vehicle will not go! It is a Fortress 1700.

The beeping indicates a failure of the motor.This is caused by either the brakes are seized or the controller for the motor has failed.
In the first case just remove the rear cover and , using a big flat screwdriver, just push the brake pads away from the disk. In the second case there is nothing you can do, you will have to contact the manufacturer - Handicare - or the dealer from which you have purchased it and find out which is the closest location that can service your scooter.

How do I adjust the back of the seat? I am short, the seat was adjusted for a much taller person. We got the seat bottom moved forward but have been unable to adjust the seat back so that it sit up...

I have a Pride Victory XL and the back of the seat is not adjustable. Call the manufacturer or check your book for help.

How do you remove the seat on a Pride Jett 2 electric wheelchair?

On all the pride chairs that I have worked on, you just rotate the seat from straight ahead a little to unlock it, and then pull up while turning it back and forth.
