My TruTech PLV1615T TV has sound but no picture. The TV is about a year and a half old. Occasionally the screen would blink or fade to black for a moment or two and then come back on. Then last week it blinked white in the center and faded out to black screen. The power is on, it has sound, the channels can be changed, it just has no picture at all. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the board that the power cord is hooked to.If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out,they need to be replaced.This should get it working again.So far I have fixed four of the same make,and model TV as this,and they all had either one,or two bad capacitors.I hope this helps.If you have any other questions,please let me know.Thank You very much!
