Hey can any1 help me I have a bosch automatic, when I turn the unit on the little fan in the bottom keeps spinning and no water enters the unit, iv drained all the water out of the unit cleaned the drain checked to make sure water is getting to the unit then I pulled the panel off the side and held down this red piece like a float valve down and it then fills with water, but its not completing a cycle, any advice what could be wrong?
SOURCE: My bosch dishwasher does not fill with water (although it drains)
most bosch have the inlet valve at the end of the fill pipe and it has an anti-flood device.
try turning off the water, take off the fill pipe then reconnect it and see if this works.
taking off the fill pipe resets the anti-flood device

i would replace the inlet valve. it sounds like it is not closing all the way

SOURCE: bosch dishwasher SHX46 won't fill with water
My model is actually a SHX46 but I was able to piece together some advice off of this site. This is what I did. I removed the toe plate and then I soaked up all the water that I could out of the white pan at the bottom. Then I unhooked the water supply line so that I could pull the dishwasher out. Once I got it out, I tipped it forward to drain out the rest of the water. I then unhooked the drain line that was connected to the disposal and cleaned it out with a "Snake line" I then hooked everything back up and it worked. Thanks so much for this website, I know it saved me a ton of $$$$$$$$$.
