For change vacuum pump oil follow the bellow step: Press main menu then keep pressing up or down arrow key till display show "CHANGE VACUUM OIL" then press "YES" key. Now vacuum pump will run for two minute & stop automatically. When pump stop you just open the oil drain cap and drain all used oil from pump (oil drain cap located outside of the machine near high & low side hose). After draining all used oil replace oil drain cap and fill 5 ounce new ROBINAIR vacuum pump oil then press "YES" key and keep filling oil up to middle of sight glass of vacuum pump. Press "STOP" key to complete the process.

NOTE: Do not over fill the pump & do not use any COMPRESSOR oil on the vacuum pump!
Hope this will help you & if it is please vote for my support

HI,I HAVE A ROBINAIR 34700Z,IT SPITS OUT FREON WHEN IT IS ON THE VACUUM MODE.PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEA HOW TO FIX IT?

Open oil drain solenoid and clean solenoid plunger with dry soft clots and replace it. After that check the apply vacuum, if you still have same issue then you may need to replace oil drain solenoid.
Hope this will help to solve your problems.

How to drain the isv in ac34700z

To clean contaminated ISV of Robinair 34700Z, open front lower panel, then slowly disconnect 3 hoses from ISV (Liquid, Air purge and Vapor). Now unscrew ISV tank from machine and then fixed an adapter to Liquid port of the tank to allow all the contaminated refrigerant to go out from tank. after emptying the tank, if possible make vacuum for approx. 10 minute with an external vacuum pump. Replace everything its original location after completing vacuum. Now change spin-on filter (Located on the back side of the machine) and vacuum pump oil. Your machine is now ready to work.
Thanks and I hope this will help you to solve your problems.

HELLO I HAVE A ROBINAIR 34788, MY UNIT WILL NOT CLEAR THE LINES. I TRIED SHUTTING OFF AND ON , BUT LINES ARE STILL HOLDING PRESSURE. I ALSO CANT RECOVER BECAUSE IT WILL NOT GET PAST CLEARING. THANK YOU

sounds like you need to check the grommet between the motor and the pump. If this grommet connector breaks, the motor will come on but the pump will not work. Turn the unit upside down and look where the motor connects to the pump. Be aware if you can lose your oil while turning upside down unless you cap the port and exhaust. If this is it, go straight to the Robinair web site and you can order one for around $25.

The high pressure unit is disabled in my Robinair Cooltech 34700z wat could be the problem?

This is a common problrm of Robinair 34700Z / 347002k & 347112k series machine.so don't worry just do the following :- 1# Verify the ISV tank is not overfilled.if full, remove refrigerant manually from tank. 2# Verify if there is high pressure in the tank.Purge excess air from the tank manually.( Open air purge hose from the tank, then press tank valve as needed) 3#Check the high pressure switch for proper operation,if not then replace high pressure switch.Hope this will solve your problem, if so please vot for it

ROBINAIR 347002K WON'T INJECT OIL

I think you'v try to inject the oil from ''WRONG'' side,as you say RECOVER/VACUUM which is LOW side manifold valve. You should inject the oil from HIGH side ( Turn the high side valve to CHARGE/OIL INJECT after vacuuming & low side vulv to CLOSE possition ) with pressing F1 key. once you press it then hold the key as long as you wish to inject the oil. If you try this way & you still have problem with oil injection then you may need to check oil injection CHECK VALVE or oil injection SOLENOID ( Both located under Hidg side panel mountin valve). NOTE: UV Dye is not a problem for oil injection! I hope this will help you to solve the problem,Good luck. Don't forge to vote for my solution!
