It'll be neccessary to find a second alternative income. This can either be in the form of investments in the forms of CDs and Bonds through your local bank, which requires some funds, or you can attempt to get a second job if possible, either a physical job with a low entry barrier, such as at a grocery market, or an online part time job, such as medical billing.
You may wish to apply to your local temp agency. If you give them a list of criteria, such as any disabilities or limitations, they can do their best to help you find a second job that will work with your life.
Unfortunately it takes money to make money, or at the very least, a bit of work. Remember to hang in there though.

What u information do they ask on a phone interview for survivor benefits for my 15 yr old daughter in iowa

Hello, Dandy -

You will probably need to make an appointment at the nearest Social Security office and go there to apply for Social Security survivor benefits, because, among other things, you will need to provide a certified copy of the child's birth certificate and a certified copy of the deceased parent's d3@th (have to spell it that way or Fixya considers it a profanity) certificate. See: https://www.ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10085.pdf

Also, read the information here:

Best wishes.

How do social workers intervene in child abuse

First, child abuse is a crime, and not handled by social workers.
It is investigated by the District Attorney and a decision is made whether or not to file criminal charges and take the child from the locus of the abuse and place the child in a temporary home.
A social worker might be consulted later, perhaps regarding the welfare of the child in its new home.
But that would be a significant time later.
Initially all activity is by the District Attorney.
A Physician specially trained in examining pediatric abuse victims will examine the child, and Xray, CT scans, and MRIs will be done to check for evidence of old fractures, hematomas from a severe spanking or a punch, etc.
Multiple photographs will be taken, often including the use of UV light to bring out dormant bruising.
A Child Psychiatrist will meet with the child, usually for several visits.
And if criminal charges are felt to be warranted then law enforcement is called in.
If the alleged abuser cannot afford a criminal defense attorney then the Court will appoint a Court appointed criminal defense attorney.
