Question about Marantz SR8001
If you have plugged in to 230AC with voltage settings was 110VAC, the transformer has been damaged already [opend winding]. If the voltage settings was 230VAC itself, there will be no harm to its internal transformer. Anyway, open it, anc check the fuses. In some cases, fule only will blow out, preventing from furhter damages. I'm not sure about it, but check it. If the fuse only has blown out, and there has no harm; you are lucky I should say. OK.

Testimonial: "thx a great deal. i'll try to check if it's just the fuse. there was no smoke or burning smell. does that mean that it was likely just the fuse? "
