Gotta have the correct time set, also check auto brew timer. Coffee pots usually beep when they are done brewing and then when it's turning off, usually after a hour. Play around with timer (hrs. and min.)

It's time to descale your brewer. Run a full reservoir of pure white vinegar through, and then a full reservoir of water, "brewing" and dumping one cup at a time. You might have to do two reservoirs of vinegar if you've never rescaled it before.
I had this problem too. I just pressed the small brew button; it pulled some water from the reservoir and heated it but nothing came out. Then I opened and closed the top cop thing and both the cup sizes were flashing and it worked like normal again.
In the manual that came with the coffee maker, the beeping is the freshness alert. When coffee is finished brewing it beeps 5 times. Every 15 minutes it beeps to let you know your coffee is 15 minutes less fresh! I just purchased this coffee maker and was looking on here how to dis-assemble the beeper. Whomever came up with the "freshness beeper" on a coffee pot needs a new job! Usually when I make coffee the whole house is asleep, now the beeping is waking everyone up! Very frustrated with this coffee pot!

This coffee pot was recalled,I just took mine back to sears essentials last night and they replaced it with the new improved one,they just got them in.Good day,Sandi
Good news. Sears has a recall on these coffee makers. You can take it
to any Sears store without a receipt and they will give you your money
back on a gift card. They were determine to be defective.
