The device driving the monitor is exceeding the horizontal and vertical frequencies that the monitor can display .....thus the "out of range". The specs for this state that the Horizontal Freq. is 80Khz and the Vertical Rate is 75hz. If you are driving this monitor from a computer running Windows, reboot the PC and use the F8 key to put it in SAFE mode. This will cause the video driver to default to a rate that the monitor can handle. Then go into the screen resolution settings and reset them. The native resolution of the monitor is 1680x1050 at 60 Hz. Exceed that and you'll get the "out of range"
the monitors resolution range is only to 1280X740 or 780 and your video card may also need an upgrade. The game may require a higher resolution that is not compatible with the the devices mentioned.
change frequency setting to 60hz from the option of graphic setting using another monitor then agin connect your problematic monitor. step1.open properties on desktop using right mouse click. step 2.goto last tab (setting) step3.goto advance optinion step 4.goto third tab(monitor) and there is option of frequency change it to 60hz save it and press enter. now shutdown computer then connect your screen goes monitor check it.hope it works. when screen black its mean the range of signal frequency higher then compatible frequency.
When you are booting the PC as soon as you see your Computer Make's logo disapear, start hitting the F8 key, this should bring you to the boot selection screen, select Safe Mode, change your resolution in there. Reboot.
view sonic -E70fB monitor displaying H.V frequency out of range when ever i play a game on the monitor screen it is displaying h.v frequency out of range....how to solve this problem
This issue may occur if the signal from the video adapter
exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video adapter setting for updating
the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor. you should reinstall your video drivers in safe mode.
To restart in safe mode repeatedly press the F8 key during the computer startup. This will bring a menu where you'll be able to choose safe mode.
It probably means the frequency is to high. Whether Windows, Macintosh, or Linux, you will need to lower your frequency. 60hz is the best for LCD, DLP, & Plasma. The resolution will be better set at 1024x768 as well.
