Slide the write protect tab forward to remove the write protection. You cannot format it while it is write protected. Formatting will erase all data on the card. Install the card into a Windows or MAC and wait for the device to detect and mount the card. Use the appropriate procedure for the machine to format the card. Plug ur pen drive. Rt click my computer and select manage. Under storage select disk management. check state of drive here.
Delete the partition an perform fresh format. ie deleting will term the space un-allocated, if OS does not detect 32GB here then the drive if faulty. Check on at least 2 PC before coming to this conclusion.
Also plug the device on the mobo USB and not on extended connector and see if it works.

1) make sure that it is formatted correctly (NTFS if it is used with a PC, or whatever the camera supports)
2) 32 GB only refers to the "class" of storage, not total formatted space available. (you should get around 30-31GB)

Yeah fat32 only supports 4gb and below. You need to format it NTFS.
