To set the time for this unit, press and hold the menu button. Press the track advance button ">>>" til it reads clock H, then rotate the volume knob to adjust the hour. Press the track advance button again, and it will read clock m. Rotate the volume knob to adjust the minute. Then press the back button and it will take you out of the menu. The color can be adjusted from the button that says color just about the menu button. You can adjust the color of the screen, the buttons, or both. Hope this helps
