Jvc xl-r5000 is only recording CDRW. CDR blank discs are not accept in it. Why? There is nothing wrong with my CDRs.

Are you using cds labeled music? These are formatted for cd audio home recorders. Data cds for computers will not work. If in doubt, usually on the packaging it states for home audio.

SOURCE: wont record on blank pc disks!

I just ran into the same issue- 9 times out of 10 it's the disc- you have to be VERY CAREFUL when buying discs tthat say CDR or CD-RW but they have to say AUDIO or MUSIC on the packet - remember there are diuffernt linds of blank discs out there and they all do different jobs- read the above again to be clear
