I bought dishwasher kenmore13443 water will not drain out of dishwasher

was there a dishwasher there before you bought the new one? if not did you drill out the pipe that the drain hose connects to? as the pipe is solid unless you drill it out or unless there was a dishwasher there before then obviously there will already be a hole cut. also check the water tap for the dishwasher is turned on and that water actually comes out of the tap

If it's only two months old I would talk to the place I bought it from. I am sure they will help you. It should be under warranty.

The 'drain hose' must placed into the sink and be free of kinks and obstruction. There is a pump that is supposed to pump the water out through the drain hose into the sink. If that pump does not activate, no water will be pumped out. I suggest yo have a repair technician trouble shoot and fit it.

The drain hose has to have a loop in it. In other words as the drain hose exits the dishwasher, it must go up at least 18 inches before it goes down into the drain. If not, the water will siphon out of the machine.

I am thinking these expensive dishwashers have reached end of life. I cannot get it to drain, clean the dishes or shut off when the door is opened. I bought this product thinking due to its cost, it would last longer. So sick of being ripped off. Let me know if you find a solution RMCDaniel at [email protected]

Check whether the drain line was assembled exactly as per Kenmore's instructions. Good luck!
