Our daughter purchased an iriver E150 for us 12 mths ago and did not give us the manual for it, She downloaded dreadful music on it and have managed to delete them. Now there is nothing on it and all I have is the connection from the E150 into the computer and would like to download CD's onto it but have not a clue how to do this. Is there a manual I can have access to so I can read it please. Thanks you Marie Portz

for you to do this, you would need to obtain a driver for this device that would enable you wipe all the songs of with your computer. you can get the driver from this website

after downloading the driver, you can connect it to your pc and then when your pc detects it, you can format it and load her songs unto it and give it to her.

It might be because you do not have sufficient administrative privileges for your user account. That is why mine wont work.

I remember reading somewhere that if you upgrade your firmware of your H340 from US to international to get video you lose the ability to play DRM music. I from this I would that the international version can't play the copy protected files. I am not sure of the legalities in your location, but you may be able to work around the copy protection. Maybe a google search would give you some hints.
