The easiest way to address this issue is to edit multiple album tracks at once. To do this, select the first track of the album artwork you would like to change. Hold the shift key and click the final track. Next, right click the songs you have selected (which will now be in blue). Select the menu item "Get Info". From the "Multiple Item Information" pop up, remove the current artwork in the artwork box (if needed) and click the check box next to artwork. Select ok.
