To charge the battery using your computer:
Connect iPod shuffle to a high-power USB port on your computer using the included iPod shuffle Dock. The computer must be turned on and not in sleep mode (some models of Macintosh can charge iPod shuffle while in sleep mode). When the battery is charging, the status light on iPod shuffle is orange. When the battery is fully charged, the status light turns green.
If you don't see the status light, iPod shuffle might not be connected to a high-power USB port. Try another USB port on your computer.

To charge the battery using an iPod USB Power Adapter If you do not have then you have to buy the same from Apple Store) 1 Connect the AC plug adapter to the power adapter (they might already be connected). 2 Plug the USB connector of the iPod shuffle Dock into the power adapter. 3 Plug the power adapter into a working electrical outlet. 4 Put iPod shuffle in the dock. You can disconnect and use iPod shuffle before it is fully charged.

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
Plug the battery backup into a working electrical outlet. If the battery backup turns on when the power button is pressed, then the problem may be that the previous electrical outlet is faulty. Proceed to step three. If the battery backup doesn't turn on, proceed to step two.
  • 2 Reset the circuit breaker on the battery backup. APC battery backups have a labeled circuit breaker button located on the unit near the phone line, fax line, USB, network and coaxial cable inputs. Press the button to reset the circuit breaker. Power on the battery backup by pressing the power button. If the battery backup powers on, proceed to step three. If the battery backup doesn't turn on, proceed to step six.

  • 3 Determine if the battery backup is charged and providing battery power. With the battery backup on and plugged into a working electrical outlet, plug a computer monitor into one of the battery backup outlets labeled "battery backup plus surge protection" on the battery backup. (APC power supplies have some outlets that provide only surge protection while the other outlets provide surge protection plus battery backup.) Turn the monitor on. Unplug the battery backup power cord from the wall outlet. If the monitor remains on, the battery is holding a charge, supplying electrical power and the battery backup is working properly. If the monitor goes off, proceed to step four.
  • 4 Charge the battery. Plug the battery backup into an electrical outlet and allow the battery to charge for 16 hours. This will fully charge the battery.
  • 5 Test battery charge. Once the battery is fully charged, repeat step three. If the monitor stays on when power is interrupted to the battery backup, the issue is solved and the problem resulted from an incompletely charged battery. If the monitor turns off when power is interrupted, the battery within the battery backup is faulty and needs to be replaced.
  • 6 Replace the battery backup unit. The unit itself is faulty. If the battery backup is under warranty, contact APC to request a replacement.

Battery charger on quantum electric wheelchair starts out ember color then starts flashing red I check wires everything is plugged check it about 3 months ago everything was ok now th chair won't

Did you charge it at all during the 3 months? Did you store chair on a full charge? Check to see if batteries are dead. Batteries should be disconnected and/or stored on a full charge. If left connected they should be fully charge every week.

Just bought new battery, need toknow how to get phone to work again

When you get new batteries for a cordless phone you need to let them charge over night. If you don't the battery will lose its charge much quicker. Now start by charging the batteries followed my plugging the base unit into the phone jack and the electrical outlet. The base unit is what sends out the signals to all the phones and is where your answering machine is located. Once the base is plugged in to the electrical socket and phone jack your phones should start receiving signal again. Make sure the batteries in the phones themselves are plugged in firmly and properly.

My laptop won't work unless it's plugged in and won't retain a charge when it's not plugged in. My touchpad won't work when it's plugged in.

Your battery is either not able to store an electrical charge, or it is not receiving an electrical charge. You will have to test these components. However it is likely that you would need to purchase a replacement battery. If it is under warranty then inquire whether this is covered. Batteries need to be used constantly, they become weak when they sit and do nothing, they become lazy, however this is not true for all battery types.

    Thumbs up!!!
    Thanks

My computer does not charge when on charge display the word "plugin in not charging"

Er this is the dell old problem.
Follow the below steps to fix it.
The Battery didn’t charge or detect being plugged in also caused by four reasons:
    • 1. The Vostro 1510 laptop battery failed
    • 2. The Adapter failed (can not charge the battery)
    • 3. The motherboard charging electric circuit failed (many caused by short damage). You can view more info here: Dell motherboard problem
    • 4. The laptop bios is too old to recognize the battery

Don't know how to charge battery

As far as charging, you are right, it should charge when you keep the unit plugged in. Many portable devices come packaged with a plastic battery protector inserted between the battery and contact terminals on the device. Usually, this is a thin, clear plastic tab that you can simply pull out. Look under the unit to see if you can locate this and remove it.
