Well sometimes at flea markets there are crooks that sell crappy itmens then they say that it
works and is fine but really its not so you have gotten ripped off so you should buy a new one from a reputable seller then.

Well I think that maybe the controller ports are going on the console then thats why> it has nothing to do with the gamepacks they are fine or it might be a coincidense then. Try them on a different SNES to see if it works then if it does

I don't know a lot about this console (the Retron 3), but the game sounds like it works fine, try using a different third-party console, I recommend the Retro Entertainment System, it's only around $20 - $25 on eBay, try a different NES game, if it doesn't work, than it's probably the controllers, get replacements, or the batteries are dead.

Well you might of have bought a crappy console at flea markets crooks can be there selling broken stuff they say that it works but really it doesn't so you will have to get the console fixed then.
