Before connecting to the internet wired or wireless, a blue screen occur... I unistalled wireless drivers and re-istalled again, I replaced the wireless unit with a new one using the original configuration sw but if I connect the lan cable direclty from the modem it run and If I connect the lan cable to the wireless unit and plug a new cable for connection between wireless unit to the computer then the blue screen occurr again !!! Wireless drivers probl or Lan Board drivers problems or what ? Thanks

The most likely issue is the multiport is defective. The wired connection works because it doesn't use the multiport.

I've had similar problems with wireless cards refusing to turn their light blue until the driver was updated via windows update. Obviously I had to do this using a wired connection. Try connectiing with a wired connection and udating until windows update tell you everything is up to date then restart your laptop and wait for about 5 minutes before you press the on/off button on your wireless. You can also try removing the wireless card (physically I mean) rebooting, shutting down and replacing the card then rebooting again. If you know anybody that has the same kind of laptop ask if you can try their wireless card to see if it's a fault with that. Sorry I can't help more.

First check if its a drivers issue.. Unistall the drivers and reinstall the latest drivers from the support website of tashiba... Then try to take the WLAN and reinsert it.. Try to get all the wireless networks again and try to connect.. If the issue is not fixed you may have to replace the WLAN card....

there should be a wlan switch on the side when it is on there is a blue light next to it mke sure its on. then try scanning if your hav a router you may have to press the wireless connect button so it accepts wireless may take some tinkering. also make sure wireless drivers are installed

try unistalling drivers but do not delete them. then install them again. this will get you to connect to wireless device. It normally happens to Vista OS

Thats sounds like the wrong drivers for the network card. Some models can have different models or brands of cards so you can get the wrong one in there. You should be able to boot up in safe mode (F8) and then go under control panel - system- hardware manager-network adapters. Find the card that is causing the problems highlight and delete it. Then reboot. This takes the card out of the system and it will be detected as a new hardware next startup. Then try another driver.

You might want to go to the Sony website and check under support to see what other drivers you can get to try for your model. There might be 2-3 to try. Usually the oem disks are right but the replacements don't always get things right.

If this were hardware you shouldn't get the bluescreen of death (BSOD). That usually means software or drivers.

Try getting the latest and the correct driver for your wireless card....It should definitely solve your problem..I can get you the link if u tell me your laptop model/Wireless card

Uninstall the driver for your phone first. Find a registry cleaner online and run it before installing the phone driver again. p.s do not plug the phone in before you install the software.

-- "limited conn.."-- you should configure the internet connection in the router's software ie 192.168.2.1 or any other IP for the router, use ISP help desk for this (if it's free).

Blue screens have numbers and sometimes explanations, usually they pop up because of incompatible driver, chek router software(driver) compatibility.

Firstly check that it is installed by going into Device Manager.
Goto START - SETTINGS - CONTROL PANEL - SYSTEM - DEVICE MANAGER
Look at the list, If you see your card there with a yellow question mark, or a red exclamation mark then it has an issue.
Firstly unistall the device by right clicking it and select Unistall.
Then reboot and Windows will detect the card again and reinstall the drivers for it.

Check back in Device Manager to see if it is still the same. If so, it is possible it is a hardware failure and would need to be replaced.

Beofre you get to that stage though, turn off the laptop, remove the card (it will be underneath under a panel and will have 2 wires connecting to it) then put it back in making sure to push it into the slot correctly. You do not need to remove the wires to do this, and the card does not need to come all the way out.
