My phone is showing not charging - use original sony bateries

Maybe last night you didn't charge it corectly . Or, your batery could be gone ... Try another charger and another batery .

This happens when there is a problem with battery . replace your battery this is the best possible solutio for you .

the sony ericson does that all the time, when it low batery it shutdown unlike nokia it shows empty battery. that normal for sony ericson. beter you have a spear battery.

in sony k550i mobile phone battery will not charge through monile charger i will check the charger but it is ok. when charger is connect to mobile then show on charging box make a charge but achually charging is dcressing.

I had the same problem with my Jamin so sent if off to the technician who informed me the Jarmin's internal circuitry prevents the phone being charged when the battery is under a certain voltage so when you use a plug in charger because the battery has very low power it does not trip a circuit in the Jamin to start the charging process. The only solution to to take the battery out of the unit and charge it with a stand-a-lone charger. Hope this makes sense.

try putting it in the black case that came with it because tht is actually extra battery so put it in there and then charge it :)

take the phone to a mobile service center and have them fix the mobile for you.
