No, it stays lit because there *are* messages, just not voice mail messages. Press the MESSAGE button and look at the display. Look at what's above soft key #3. If you don't need the information in the first line, use the CLEAR key to erase it.

Press MESSAGE and look at the display. Three are messages, just not from the voice mail system. The 3rd soft key will let you ERASE the message.

Ricoh 2018d light stays red

Hi, the red light will generally stay lit for one of four conditions: if there is no paper in the trays, if the copier is out of toner, if there is a paper jam, or if there is an error code. The specific condition should be displayed on the operation panel. Do you see a message or error code?

Even once I've listened to and deleted my voice mails, the red light will not go off. Any suggestions?

press the MESSAGE button and look at the display. It can be lit from any other station, and in fact, will be lit if someone dials your extension and presses MESSAGE or dials a "4".

The display tells you where the message came from and one of the soft keys will let you delete it.

My phone flashes all the time, and gives me an indication that I have a message. There is no message, and it continues to blink, even after it is supposedly cleared out.

My message light is lit SOLID and only follows the ring, so you must be talking about the FWD/DND light.

The Forward condition can be cleared, but you will lose the call forwarding to voice mail. The light can be programmed by your installer to be solid, instead of flashing, but the installer will have to do that.

If you're somehow oddly talking about the message indicator on the upper right of the phone which doesn't flash, them press MESSAGE and look at the display. It will tell you where the message came from and let you press CLEAR to erase it.

What does it mean if "message', 'Avaya', and 'A' lights are all blinking, and 'B' stays lit?

The solid light on B could be that the handset is offhook.

When a call rings in, the message light can be set to flash as well as the light will flash next to the a (or b ) button that the call is ringing in on.

I have an innovage jumbo remote did not loose it!!! LOST THE DIRECTIONS TO PROGRAM IT.

You can program the Innovage Jumbo Remote by entering three digit codes, or by using the auto-search function.

To program your remote by entering a code, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
  3. Press the TV button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
  4. Enter the first set of 3-digit codes from the list. The LED will blink once every keypress. After the 3rd digit, the red LED will turn off indicating that the code was recognized for the device. If the code was not compatible, the LED will flash several times and you need to return to step 2 to try that code again or to try the next code in the list.
  5. After the LED has turned off, aim the remote at the TV and press ON/OFF. If the device turns off, you have used the correct code and the remote was successfully programed. If the device does not power off, return to step 2 and try again with the next code in the list.
To have the remote try each TV code it knows one at a time, follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your TV.
  2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button for at least 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and stays lit.
  3. Press the TV button on the remote so that the LED blinks once and then remains solid red.
  4. Press the ON/OFF button slowly and repeatedly until the TV turns off. The LED will blink once each time you press the ON/OFF button.
  5. Once the TV turns off, press the ENTER button to store the code and the LED will turn off.
To program the remote for your VCR, repeat this process starting with turning the VCR on, then follow the steps substituting the VCR button for the TV button.

I hope that helps.
