IPod isn't doing anything.

My iPod hasn't been working correctly for the past few weeks, but I haven't worried too much about it until now. It would randomly come on and run the battery down. More than half of the time, when I would click on a song to play, it wouldn't play--just stay at 0 seconds. It always worked after a few resets with the center/menu button.
Today it isn't doing anything. It worked fine less than 24 hours ago, but now it's not showing up on the computer, nothing on the screen when I reset, not charging from my iTrip--nothing. We just got a new computer, and I don't have my music backed up. I'll do anything to fix it, I just don't know what's going on.

I need a little more information. What model of iPad do you have? This is a common problem on certain iPads but don't worry we may not get it working with out having to put in a new board but I will at least get your music transferred. If you want to keep it after I figure out what the problem is and if you like fixing your own things I will walk you through each step it may be easier if I make you a video to follow replacing the part I believe is causing your problem. I need the model number also I need to know how many gigabytes it has. One last thing since you can't power it up right now how many apps are you running on it. I don't think at this time that's your problem but it's something that will help me to narrow the problem down. Oh one last question have you dropped it and if so what kind of case do you keep it in IE. a otter case etc.
we will get you going soon.

Reboot your IPod by holding down on the center button while pressing the menu button. The Apple logo will appear.

If it still continues, reload your IPod software from Itunes.

Cannot download samsung kies to my cellphone

*Important Update 12-17-2010**
Over the past few months, thousands of people have visited this post in an attempt to sync their Samsung Captivate smartphones with their computers. As most of us learned, this isn't an easy task, and there just hasn't been a great solution. Although you could follow the instructions below and possibly get Kies to work, Samsung clearly explained that Kies is currently not supported by U.S. Galaxy phones.

My LG LP1200DXR Portable Air Conditioner seems to be working properly, cooling the room as it should but no longer is draining any water. It does not shut off as it would when it is full although I have...

Actually, your unit was not designed for continuous draining. It needs water in the tank to help cool the coils. I'm sort of surprised that the unit hasn't stopped cooling or hasn't overheated. Since you haven't seen any water in the drain tank you have, it may have pasted the point of no return. Disconnect the hose, reinstall the drain plug and hope that you have to start emptying the tank again, soon.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

worth checking the fuel tank for holes or there might be some fuel delivery pipes leaking badly. Or it might be an O2 sensor not giving correct signal to ecu thus consuming so much fuel.

I need an Android 2.2 instruction manual, for a tablet I just bought (without useful instructions). Can you tell me where I can download one from? The Droid site download seems not to be...

Hi! I hope this is the manual you were looking for! Android is fairly intuitive, don't worry about messing anything up - you can't really, just browse around and learn. The guide isn't actually tablet-specific, because you haven't told me which tablet you have, usually the specific manuals are only on the manufacturer's site.

I've searched and can't find anyone else with this problem either, I know it isn't an instant solution but your best bet would be contacting their customer support.

IPod Problems - Connecting to Windows / Songs Cutting Short

Sounds like Vista has some setting causing it to want to check all USB devices. Maybe a virus scan or something?

Yes restoring an ipod resets it back to all factory defaults, which is to sync automatically. So whenever you restore you will need to recheck that box.
