Was coming up with a10 on diplay and now when you start a cycle there is a dry girgling sound and there does not seem to be enough water coming through.

Everything but the prewash stops after about 2-3 mins and A10 comes up. However, water seems to be going in and out of the washer fine. Prewash works perfectly.

Dryer not drying clothes

If you remove the lid you will see the element on top of the drum.
There are a couple of thermal cutouts mounted on it which would be the first thing to check.
Also look for the obvious broken wires etc.
Also can you hear the fan running when machine is in operation?
Hope this helps & thankyou for using Fixya.

Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 Washer Dryer not drying.

Hi, I think the problem you have is with the cold water inlet valve? When your machine dries it uses a small amount of water at high pressure through a restricter fitted in the water inlet valve. These break down letting in to much water which cannot evaporate quick enough for it to pump out causing the washing to become wetter than after the wash/spin cycle. The only way of solving this is to replace th tree way water inlet valve. But make sure that the pump is working ok first and that there is nothing in the sump hose trap which is located underneath the washing machine out the bottom of the tub.
Good luck.................

Hotpoint Aquarius WD640 Progressive problems now causing flooding

Normally if it leaks then the one way valve in the back of the machine is clogged, you remove the back, undo the jubilee clips on the 3" black hose & clean the ball.

Hotpoint Aquarius wd440

Find the pipe that comes out of the bottom of the drum, this may contain coin, muck, etc. Clean. This pipe leads to the small pump that draws the water out. If your clean of the pipe does not work the machine.......there could be a fault with your pump..........which you can/cannot clean.
