I had a error close to that one. It was a picture of the player with a flashing exclaimation. I couldn't do anything with the player. It was frozen. I plugged it into the computer and no results. I changed the batterys and got no results. I found the software and hooked it up to the computer again. It said there was a software update. I followed the prompts and it worked. The music player was back to normal. So those of you that have this player MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SOFTWARE!!!
jcfreak - I downloaded the software from their site but it didn't say anything about an update. Where/how did you get the update?

After leaving the software on my computer on for a while, it eventually prompted (on it's own) me saying there was an update available. I was so excited to see the prompt and I hit OK. It told me to connect the player to the computer before starting so I did and it automatically did an update. It appears to be working now! Sure hope this doesn't happen again!
