Yamata FY811 Mechanical Sewing Machine

Machine mechanism not moving

I have a domestic Yamata FY811 sewing machine .I can hear the motor running but the outward mechanism like the needle,thread take up lever etc., are not moving. Could you kindly tell me what to do please.......

Check the stop motion to make sure it is tight, check the motor belt in case it has come off or broken, if the belt is okay check the motor pulley in case it has come loose.
