Bought new ms900 last week,charged 3 cycles of 24 hours,had one shave,next day no power each time. this day charged for 1 hour,same thing happened. if it will not hold a charge,I will have to use the cord all the time. great shave.hope this is enough info. Thanks.....Bob from Canada...

It is not that young anymore. The rechargeable battery is (almost?) dead. It is almost impossible to replace it. I once tried it, took me more than a day yo put everything together and still it never was as before.
I have bought a new Braun (799) and I'm convinced this one will live longer. The rechargeable battery in this one, you can shave one hour before you need to recharge it. It lasts a week with me, or sometimes even longer, before I have to charge it again.

Perhaps you just use the shaver with the power cord, like we used to do for 20 years, and start saving for a new one?

Without your model number here is what most likely has happened:
The automatic defrosting system is not working due to a component failure.

The components of the automatic defrost system are:
1. Defrost control
2. Defrost heater
3. Defrost thermostat.
4. Wiring to inter-connect 1 - 3 above.

What your currently doing is a manual defrost cycle every 3 weeks because ice blocks the air-flow across the evaporator in the freezer compartment so everything starts warming up in the fresh food section first and finally the freezer as the ice block gets larger.

FYI you can unplug it... remove the contents from the freezer...use an external directed into the freezer compartment for just over 2 hours to do the same process your doing in 24 hours. Until the automatic defrost system is repaired you should do a manual defrost at least every 4 days.
Most units are on an automatic defrost cycle of 6 - 8 hours (usually) all the way up to 10.35 hours per cycle. Yours just is not working at all.

FM1D single-channel timer is difficult to program.

Timer flowchart starts page 3.
First step is to select format and then set current time.
Format is asking if you want 24hour or 12 hour format:
12 hour is am and pm
24 hour is military time where 11pm at night is hour 23.
Current time is simply the time right now.

Next step is to set program 1 thru 20 (P01 P02 thru P20)
Start by pushing +/- until desired program displays
Each program is set for either ON or OFF.
There are 20 memories available: 10 ON and 10 OFF.
Not necessary to use all 20 memories.
You need to set at least 1 ON time and 1 OFF time.

Make chart of on-off schedule to avoid conflicts in programming: For example ON at 7am Monday and OFF at 9am all-days-of-week will cause timer not to function as expected.
Each ON time is set for hour, minute and day.
Each OFF time is set for hour, minute and day
Press menu to terminate programming.

Add a comment for specific help with this timer.

There are two things possible.
1) You have defective re chargeable batteries in your GoGear.
2) There is some short circuit because of which the re chargeable cells are discharging.
Either way you should get the system changed. If you want to confirm if its the battery defect or GoGear. Charge the system fully and play music continuously. If the Go Gear plays for about 4 hours with out break---- its not the battery but the charging system.

Running so few miles has accelerated the aging of the battery - the battery never had a chance to fully recharge in such small trips -  so now you have to replace it a year sooner than usual.
Just replace it.

mcdevito75 here, The stem has 2 positions, first adjust the day or month by going thru the 24 hour cycle with the stem. once set, slip a finger nail just ubder the stem and lift carefully this should allow you to change the DATE adjust to 1 date before the date you need, now pull the stem out to adjust date and time of day turn sten the complete 24 hour cycle to achieve the correct date and time of day. Now your watches day and date are set and will change to the next day date on time, around Mid nite 1 --2 AM.

You can try unplugging it for at least two hours and then re-starting. Since I moved my washer starting acting up getting stuck at various points in a cycle--sometimes 19 minutes, or 12, or 33, or 3...no rhyme or reason, no specific point in the cycle. My mover is an appliance repair guy and told me to do the unplug thing and it has worked multiple times--not that I enjoy having this happen over and over, but he told me Sears would charge a minimum of 100 to show up at the door, and I don't have that right now. Anyhow, it has only worked if I left it alone at least 2 hours---my new strategy is going to be unplugging it daily...I love the washer but this is nutty.
