Suddenly pixelated screen and slow

Hi,
I inserted an old disk program into my Mac OSX and it opened OS9 which, for some reason, pixelated my Cintiq screen and slowed things down in PhotoShop and Alias Sketch. I don't know how to fix this. Several restarts yield no change. Can you help me? Thanks!
